Since I started back in 2005 tinkering with designing web sites and placing affiliate links on the website, I have come a long way working my web business part-time.  It is now at the end of 2009, and soon 2010 and from a percentage perspective the business is now making almost twice its cost, about 90% profit, before taxes.

Over the last little while it seems like a particular spammer has put my blog into his automated spamming campaign. The amount of blog comment spam that I have been receiving has increased significantly. On average I am getting about 6 per day, however in the last few days it has jumped to about 5 or 6 every hour.

I have been having problems lately with Technorati’s service. I’m sure this is nothing new as when I searched the web to see if other people are having the same issues, sure enough they are.

So far I still cannot claim my blog, it’s been 2 weeks and the bloody feature still does not work somehow. I get the following message over and over again.

“There was a problem claiming your blog. Please try again in a few minutes. You can also go to Technorati Help for help claiming your blog.”
